Portland Strip Clubs: The views from on high are nice, but not many can afford them
by exoticinportlandIt offers a panoramic, 360-degree view of Vancouver, a saltwater swimming pool, acres of gleaming Italian marble and a living room whose ceiling is gilded in white gold leaf.
Price for one month?
“It’s five hundred,” said Daniel Mitchell, the general manager.
“Five hundred what?” I asked.
“Five hundred thousand dollars,” he said.
Half a million for a rental apartment, even if does have a catering kitchen for the help, seems preposterous. But Mitchell is optimistic he’ll find a renter.
“It might be a celebrity, maybe George Clooney or Oprah, or a major corporation,” he guessed.
He explained that his building, on Seymour Street across from the Penthouse strip club, has lots of rich and famous people checking in. The cast from Twilight have been guests, though in the much cheaper suites below. The NHL Players’ Association and Omega, the people who keep the Olympic clocks ticking, have all booked suites.
