The Tigard Police Department reported the following arrests Dec. 15 through Dec. 22: Assault – 3; theft – 19; warrants – 5; violation of a restraining order – 2; strangulation – 1; carrying a concealed weapon – 1; DUII – 2; minor in possession of alcohol – 3; drug-related – 5; false information to a police officer – 1; harassment – 1; criminal mischief – 3; burglary – 1; hit and run – 1; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle – 1; prostitution – 1. Of these, 19 resulted in juvenile arrests.
Tuesday, Dec. 22
- The Mitsubishi Eclipse of a man in the 12100 block of Scholls Ferry Road was reported stolen. The man gave police the wrong license plate number, then admitted that he had been drinking and had simply forgotten where he parked the car. The vehicle was later found by the man’s friend.
