Portland Adult Entertainment: Lincoln High School’s head football coach and two assistants told …
by kingofportland… The kids have worked very hard, and they want to get on with their season,” said Don Furman, the father of Lincoln High School quarterback Henry Furman. He said he thinks the coaches’ actions have affected the team’s play, citing Lincoln’s loss to Jesuit High School on Friday night. “I think this is a lot of change and a lot of distraction.”
Lincoln senior Kylah Heslin called the discipline “too drastic,” saying she didn’t understand why the district was getting rid of the coaches for conduct on personal time.
This is the third incident involving Lincoln’s coaches. In late February, boys basketball coach David Adelman, who remains on the job, was cited for driving under the influence of intoxicants for the second time since 2005. The baseball coach resigned in April after he allegedly accompanied three of his players to an adult entertainment venue in San Francisco while at a spring break baseball tournament.
