Oregon: Human trafficking is on the rise, according to the report. Though the precise statistics data is not available, hundreds of women and local children are believed to be trafficking victims in the state. Police encounter up to five cases a week, according to the report.
Mississipi: A 25 years old woman began a shelter for child prostitutes in Tanzania. She began her shelter home after working with the children at a camp near a garbage dump in Swaziland. In the camp, families often sell their child for prostitution for the income they could provide. She said that the child prostitutes in the age of 6 and 13 already had sex to get food for their families.
Wisconsin: prostitution case leads to uncover sex trafficking investigation. Investigators mentioned that sex for cash business in Fox Valley may well be a big part of human trafficking ring. They also said that the employees of illegal massage parlors could be trafficking victims from abroad.

Sri said the decentralized sex trade was far more difficult for
authorities to monitor and was a barrier for the city’s efforts, such
as ensuring condoms are readily available, to fight the spread of
HIV/AIDS.

DENVER – FBI officials tell 9Wants to Know they arrested 27 people from the Denver area during raids aimed at under-age prostitution late last week and into the weekend.
In Denver, 24 were arrested for prostitution, two were taken into custody for being pimps and another was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Agents rescued 52 children in a series of raids around the country, though no children were found in the Denver area busts, according to FBI spokeswoman Kathy Wright.
“Child prostitution continues to be a significant problem in our country, as evidenced by the number of children rescued through the continued efforts of our Crimes Against Children task forces,” Kevin Perkins, assistant director of the FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division, said.
Officials checked out massage parlors located at 1529 Champa Street and 2060 S. Huron Street as part of the Denver investigation.

LAS VEGAS — A Las Vegas Valley massage parlor is taking a hands-on approach to giving back and fighting breast cancer.
Massage Envy is hosting Massage for the Cure. All eight of their locations are participating on Tuesday and are offering discounted one-hour massages of $35. Massage Envy said it is donating $10 from every massage to Las Vegas local Susan G. Koman for the Cure.
Breast cancer survivors said they are even taking advantage of the healing touch the deal offers.
Massage Envy clinics across the country are participating in the nationwide event and said they hope to earn $500,000 for Susan G. Koman for the Cure.
